Global Soundscapes takes you on an ear-opening journey into the science of sound and the exciting new field of soundscape ecology. This interactive IMAX/giant screen experience, featuring live performance and immersive video, is currently being distributed to museums and science centers worldwide.
Intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants, or long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), are the most effective forms of reversible contraceptives. ACOG District II family planning experts and Foxfire have come together to develop relevant clinical education on the utilization of LARC methods in eligible patients, especially in the immediate postpartum period.
WGBH Educational Foundation selected Foxfire to create a interactive experience for Zoom into Engineering, a joint project of the PBS television show Zoom and National Engineers Week. This interactive learning program teaches engineers how to lead activities with kids, shows how to set up workshops and events, and provides insights on how kids learn. WGBH has distributed this program to over 10,000 engineers around the world.
Foxfire worked together with VSTAR Family Entertainment to produce a unique dinosaur bone scanning experience. Targeting children ages 4-12 and their parents, this exhibit allows users to scan model dinosaur bones with embedded RFID tags. These tags trigger an interactive experience that not only identifies the dinosaur, but also helps guide a conversation between parent and child.
Working closely with scientists from Purdue’s Soundscape Ecology research group, Foxfire helped to design the user interface for the Record the Earth app. The app was utilized by citizen scientists to capture soundscapes and participate in a global research study.
The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) selected Foxfire to design and produce a continuing medical education program on the treatment of bariatric surgery patients. This unique learning experience provides over 26 hours of essential lectures, case studies, lively debate and video clips. The target audience includes: surgeons, physicians, nutritionists and psychologists.
This medical education project targets physicians around the world and tells the story about, Xolair, a breakthrough treatment for asthma and allergies. Xolair is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody developed for the potential treatment of allergy-related, moderate-to-severe asthma. The deliverables for this project include interactive installations and video wall exhibits for medical conferences and tradeshows.
US Sailing hired Foxfire to produce a promotional video about their Reach Program. This national educational initiative utilizes sailing as a STEM learning platform and challenges youth to explore productive STEM-based careers.
